The Sebo Relief Series was specifically developed to treat and restore sensitive, reddened skin – a result of a common inflammatory response that appears mainly in areas rich in sebaceous glands, such as the face, scalp, and other parts of the body.

This condition affects approximately 3% to 5% of the population and can appear at any age after adolescence, with varying levels of severity. It typically presents as pink patches with flaking – mainly on the eyebrows, eyelid edges, sides of the nose, behind the ears, and sometimes along the hairline.

Common aggravating factors:

Emotional stress.
Persistent fatigue.
Seasonal changes (especially winter and early spring).
Poor general health or weakened immunity.

The inflammatory response is linked, among other factors, to the presence of a yeast called Malassezia – an organism naturally found on the skin. While not a direct cause, its presence combined with excessive sebum secretion or a weakened skin barrier can exacerbate symptoms.

In healthy skin, there is no abnormal reaction to the presence of this yeast. However, in individuals with heightened sensitivity or reduced skin immunity, an inflammatory reaction develops – manifesting as redness, flaking, and itching that vary in intensity and appearance from day to day depending on skin condition and external influences.

Treatment during flare-ups:
While the condition cannot be entirely prevented, with appropriate care it can be effectively and rapidly managed – helping to calm the symptoms and significantly improve the skin’s appearance and quality.
